Criminal detention of truck driver who caused accident on Buon Ho town bypass

Buon Ho town police have just issued a decision to temporarily detain Pham Van Huan (born in 1994, residing in Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province) to investigate the act of causing a traffic accident that killed one person and injured many others.

According to the initial investigation results, at noon on October 8, Pham Van Huan drove a truck with license plate number 29H - 076.25 on the Buon Ho town bypass, in the direction of Gia Lai - Buon Ma Thuot city.

At around 1:30 p.m. the same day, when the truck reached the section of road at Km 13 + 800 of Buon Ho town bypass, Huan fell asleep, causing the truck to encroach on the opposite lane. Immediately after that, the truck collided head-on with a passenger bus (16-seat type) with license plate: 47F - 002.03, driven by Mr. PPQ (born in 1987, residing in Buon Ma Thuot City), traveling in the opposite direction.

The accident killed Mr. LQH (born in 1996, residing in Dak Song district, Dak Nong province) and injured several others.

After the incident, Pham Van Huan went to Buon Ho town police to surrender and confessed to causing the traffic accident.
