Temporarily detained 68 HAMACHI electric bicycles violating regulations on corresponding technical standards

Market Management Team No. 1 (under Dak Lak Market Management Department) has just inspected an electric bicycle store located at 38 Y Jut (Tan Tien Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City).

This is 1 of 24 showrooms introduced on the website hamachi.vn owned by Hamachi Vietnam Co., Ltd. located in 14 provinces and cities across the country.

The inspection team of Market Management Team No. 1 (under the Market Management Department) inspected an electric bicycle store at No. 38 Y Jut (Tan Tien Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City).

The inspection team of Market Management Team No. 1 recorded that the store was selling 68 HAMACHI brand electric bicycles without any basis to determine the origin of the goods; no conformity stamps were attached as prescribed; the weight of the electric bicycles were all over 40 kg (exceeding the technical standards prescribed in Circular No. 39/2013/TT-BGTVT, dated November 1, 2013 of the Ministry of Transport promulgating national standards on electric bicycles).

The inspection team of Market Management Team No. 1 has sealed and temporarily detained all 68 electric bicycles due to violations of regulations on corresponding technical standards and continued to complete the dossier for handling according to the provisions of law.
