During the investigation, Mr. TQT admitted to using tape to cover the number 8 on the license plate and changing the letter F to an E to avoid being fined for traffic violations.
On January 30, social media posted an article with a photo of a Hyundai Accent car with license plate 30E-2X2.73 with the license plate covered with tape, partially covering the numbers.
Upon receiving the information, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4, Traffic Police Department of Hanoi Police quickly verified and clarified the driver and requested to come to work.

During the investigation, Mr. TQT admitted to using tape to cover the number 8 on the license plate and changing the letter F to an E to avoid being fined for traffic violations. The vehicle was identified as having the license plate 30F-282.73.
Based on the verification documents, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 drew up an administrative violation report against Mr. T for pasting or covering letters and numbers on the license plate, and temporarily detained his driver's license for processing.
According to Traffic Police Team No. 4, based on the provisions of Decree 168/2024, Mr. T's violation will be fined 23 million VND and have 6 points deducted from his driver's license.

Traffic police will continue to strengthen inspections and strictly handle cases of intentional violations to ensure traffic order and safety, especially during the peak of Tet At Ty.
