According to Gaming Bolt , developer Studio Wildcard has announced the delay of Ark: Survival Ascended on Xbox Series X/S and Windows Store just one day before its release.
The developer revealed that the survival game is still undergoing certification and will therefore miss its launch date. Previously, Studio Wildcard was expected to release the game later this week, but now an exact date will be provided when Survival Ascended is fully available.
Ark: Survival Ascended Release Delayed Again
The delay probably doesn't come as much of a surprise to fans, as Ark: Survival Ascended was originally slated for an August release, but was later delayed to October. The PC version went into early access on Steam last month, but the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 versions faced delays. It's unclear how this latest delay will affect the PlayStation 5 version, which is currently scheduled for a late November release.
But both console versions will support cross-platform play and have new servers with enhanced PvP, PvE, and Small Tribes modes. This upgrade is expected to be completed in mid-December, which is when the Scorched Earth expansion will be added to Ark: Survival Ascended.
However, things can still change, so we still need to wait for an official announcement from Studio Wildcard.
