The MV revolves around the life and fate of a maid in the forbidden palace during the feudal period. The girl struggles, rises to live and love like everyone else and then receives a bitter ending. The MV idea came from Yuni Boo's dream 1 year ago. When she woke up, she still remembered the details quite clearly, so she wrote the story in a note on her phone. When Phuc Pin and Kaisoul sent her the draft of "Palace Maid", she was surprised because the lyrics closely followed the story in the dream as well as the impression of the sad melody, so she decided to film the MV.
Yuni Boo's real name is Cabral Baongoc Yuni, born in 1998 and raised in the US. Her father is American, her mother is Vietnamese, and when she was 12 years old, she returned to Vietnam to live for about 5 years. She has been active in music since 2014, and is known to young Vietnamese people through products such as "Ep duyen" (45 million views), "Ban tinh oi" (14 million views), "Khong la chong dau" (8.8 million views), "Cuu luon duoc khong" (9.7 million views), "Doa quynh lan" (20 million views)... Currently, Yuni Boo lives in Arizona (USA), planning to return to Vietnam in the future. Although her main job is business, the rapper still considers music an indispensable passion, wants to work long-term and release many musical products with her own personality.

The phrase "à lêi" appeared in the rap song of the same name by Double2T in collaboration with music producer Masew. "À lêi" (or à lêi no) means "huh", "oh my god!", expressing surprise in the Tay language. Previously, this phrase appeared in a video on social media. When included in the rap song, this strange phrase immediately attracted attention because it had never appeared in previous music products. "À lêi" also appeared right in the first rap verse, making it even more curious. However, this is not the only factor that made this product successful. In the comments section, many viewers said that the melodies of the song made them want to learn more about ethnic groups, mountainous culture and love their homeland Vietnam more.
The fact that many young artists today are looking to their roots in their compositions is a positive sign. In recent years, many young singers have also ventured into this genre of music, such as Hoang Thuy Linh, Quach Mai Thy, Phung Khanh Linh, Hong Duyen, Ha Myo, Hoa Minzy... Many traditional music products have become popular hits in the music market. A typical example is the MV "Thi Mau" by Hoa Minzy - the song that helped young audiences learn about Cheo.
"Vietnamese music has very good Cheo but it is gradually fading away. Hoa Minzy hopes that after watching the MV "Thi Mau", the audience will like and learn about Cheo art, and more broadly, traditional art forms" - Hoa Minzy once expressed.
According to experts, the combination of traditional and contemporary music brings a certain excitement to the audience in addition to the meaning of national pride. Of course, how to create a product that combines traditional and contemporary music is always a difficult problem. However, with the audience's love for products with traditional art elements, this is definitely a path that needs to be encouraged and promoted.
One of the key solutions emphasized by many experts in promoting the flow of traditional art in modern life is to strengthen education and communication. Art troupes need to increase traditional art performances in high schools, universities and colleges. This is one of the effective education and communication methods to help traditional art get closer to the younger generation.
When building a sufficient foundation of traditional music, listeners will certainly be interested and composers will be more excited because of the reception. The love of the audience is the way to preserve traditional values, especially in the field of art.
