Division 341 is a permanent framework unit of Military Region 4, with the core political tasks of managing, inspecting, mobilizing, training reserve soldiers, training new soldiers for the military region and performing a number of other tasks.
To improve the quality of training and combat readiness, the division has focused on doing a good job of preparation; organizing the dissemination of information to cadres and soldiers to grasp the content, requirements, targets and training tasks. Focusing on education to raise awareness, responsibility, promote the vanguard and exemplary spirit of cadres and party members. At the same time, focusing on building the content, programs, training plans and training cadres close to the practical situation. Every year, before entering training, agencies and units actively do a good job of preparing lesson plans, lectures, model teaching aids, training grounds, and training grounds; proactively perfecting the training framework for reserve soldiers and new soldiers. At the same time, focusing on improving the qualifications and training methods for cadres at all levels, especially cadres at the squad level.
During the training process, the division adheres to the motto "Basic, practical, solid"; focuses on synchronous and in-depth training, effectively applying 3 viewpoints, 8 principles, 6 combinations. For the regular force and reserve soldiers, tactical training is determined to be the center, technical training is the core, proficiently use weapons and technical equipment in the establishment, gradually master the newly equipped weapons; promote creative thinking capacity, decisiveness, combine traditional and modern fighting methods.
The highlight is the training of new soldiers. Along with strengthening command and physical training, the division focuses on training soldiers who are good at individual, team, and squad tactics in combat, proficient in techniques and key infantry combat techniques (AK shooting, explosives, grenade throwing)...
Recently, at Regiment 266 (Division 341), an oath-taking ceremony was held for 360 new soldiers. Major Trinh Dang The, Deputy Regiment Commander, said: In 2023, the regiment was assigned the task of receiving and training 360 new soldiers in 6 districts and towns in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces. Having a firm grasp of the division's plan and instructions on military recruitment, the unit has proactively developed a plan and deployed it to agencies and units, selecting experienced, highly motivated and responsible officers. Organized and assigned specific tasks to each delegation and comrade to participate in infiltrating and selecting new soldiers. At the same time, closely coordinated with district military agencies and enlisted the help of local leaders, authorities and people. The infiltration process is carried out in accordance with the Law on Military Service and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense. New soldiers in 2023 are guaranteed to have good qualifications, health and political standards.
After 3 months of training, the training program for new soldiers at Regiment 266 achieved good results; soldiers were equipped with basic knowledge of military, politics, logistics, and technology as a basis for continuing to train new, higher-level content in the following period. The first step was to build the personality of a revolutionary soldier in each soldier, creating conditions for soldiers to quickly integrate into the new environment, always have a sense of cultivating morality, practicing etiquette, and true manners to become soldiers in the Vietnam People's Army.
Soldier Le Dinh Duong shared: “Throughout the training period, with the spirit of actively studying and practicing, along with the dedicated guidance of all levels, my teammates and I have matured a lot in terms of awareness, lifestyle, and activities. I am aware of the honor and responsibility of young people in the task of protecting the Fatherland as well as being more proud of the traditions of the unit, locality and the tradition of the army”.
It is known that every year, Division 341 regularly organizes well drills, competitions, and sports events, attaching importance to the work of summarizing, summarizing, and drawing lessons after each training period and stage. Thanks to that, the training quality of the division is increasingly improved, the inspection and evaluation of the results every year shows that 100% of the training subjects meet the requirements, of which over 80% are good and excellent, ensuring absolute safety for people, weapons, and technical equipment. For many consecutive years, the division has been recognized as an excellent training unit. In addition, it strictly maintains discipline and combat readiness, builds, supplements, and perfects combat plans, search and rescue at each level; directs agencies and units to organize patrols, guard, and control the military, and fully practice according to the plans and strategies that have been determined and the practical requirements set forth, ensuring sufficient motivation and good completion of tasks when situations arise.
Faced with the increasingly high demands of the task of building the army, consolidating national defense and protecting the Fatherland, the Party Committee and the command of Division 341 and the Party Committees and commanders at all levels have always paid special attention to the work of training and combat readiness, leading, directing, and organizing strict and serious implementation. This is the basis for agencies and units in the division to improve their overall quality and combat readiness, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive "exemplary and typical" division.
