According to the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has agreed on the list of proposed investment projects for mineral exploitation, land leveling, and construction (code NT-BS01) in Xuan Ngoc village (Tam Anh Nam commune, Nui Thanh district).

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to promptly advise and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the list of proposed investment projects for mineral exploitation to organize the auction of exploitation rights and prepare documents and procedures for granting exploration licenses and mineral exploitation licenses in accordance with the provisions of law and promptly have a source of materials to serve the construction of works and projects, including the Vo Chi Cong Road Project and the Tam Hoa Commune Main Road Project, Nui Thanh District.

At the same time, urgently coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Construction and related units to review and sign the confirmation of the appendix and related maps in the approved provincial planning dossier to have a basis for considering and resolving the issuance of mineral exploration licenses and mining licenses in accordance with the provisions of law.

The Department of Planning and Investment directs and urges the consulting unit to urgently work with the departments and People's Committees of Nui Thanh, Tien Phuoc and Que Son districts to complete the signing of confirmation of the appendix and related maps in the provincial planning dossier, ensuring the legal basis for carrying out the next steps in accordance with the provisions of law.

For the land leveling mine site with symbol NT-BS03 in Tam My Tay commune (Nui Thanh district), the Department of Natural Resources and Environment focuses on urging and synthesizing opinions of relevant sectors to continue synthesizing the list of investment proposals for mineral exploitation projects for construction materials, advising the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to report to request consensus from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to implement the auction of exploitation rights and prepare documents and procedures for submitting for granting mineral exploration and exploitation licenses according to regulations.

Regarding the land leveling mine site marked NT-BS02 in Xuan Ngoc village (Tam Anh Nam commune, Nui Thanh district), the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to urgently coordinate with the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to review the direction content according to the conclusion notices issued by the Provincial Party Standing Committee at the inspection sessions; direct the acceleration of compensation and site clearance progress for key projects of the province.

On that basis, preside over working with leaders of the People's Committees of relevant districts (including Nui Thanh, Hiep Duc, Dai Loc districts) to clarify the legal basis and agree on the proposed direction for auctioning or not auctioning mining rights in accordance with the provisions of law, clearly state the legal basis for a number of mineral mines and land fill sites (including NT-BS02 mine), promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for comments for implementation.
