Exciting activities to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the founding of Naval Region 5 Command

From October 24 to 26, agencies and units of the Naval Region 5 Command from the mainland to remote islands organized many activities to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the founding of the Naval Region 5 Command (October 26, 1975 - October 26, 2024).

Officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 5 Command offered flowers and incense at the Fist Monument (Kien Giang) to commemorate the heroic martyrs, expressing their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.

In the series of activities to celebrate the Traditional Day, the agencies and units under the Region also organized a youth forum with the theme: "Naval Region 5 Command - 49 years of journey to protect the sea"; screened movies on a large screen to serve officers and soldiers; talked about traditions; organized military games, folk games, culture, arts, physical education, sports, etc.
