Ms. Pham Thi Moi - owner of Co Moi Agricultural, Forestry and Aquatic Product Processing Facility (Soc Trang) said that she brought purple onion jam and salted crab - products that have been certified by the province to display and introduce at this fair. By participating in the fair, more people will know about OCOP products, creating favorable conditions for finding customers and consumption markets.
Mr. Hong Minh Nhat, Head of the Economic Department of Nga Nam Town (Soc Trang) informed that the whole town has 18 OCOP products (3 stars or higher) and 39 potential OCOP products. Coming to this fair is an opportunity for manufacturers to promote their own local products and share and learn from experiences from other localities, thereby diversifying products to suit consumer tastes.
The 2023 Soc Trang OCOP and Regional Specialty Products Trade Promotion Fair will have over 400 booths, including 300 general trade booths of enterprises and production and business establishments inside and outside the province and 100 booths of units and enterprises displaying specialty, typical, key agricultural products and OCOP products of regions across the country.
Vice Chairman of Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee Lam Hoang Nghiep said: This fair is an opportunity for businesses of Soc Trang province in particular and localities nationwide in general to introduce OCOP products and quality products to consumers, contributing to the campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods".
In addition, the fair is an opportunity for businesses inside and outside the province to strengthen trade activities and connect the distribution of OCOP products in the domestic and international markets.
