Thanh Hoa Department of Justice responds to Vietnam Law Day 2024

On the morning of November 4, the Department of Justice held a conference to respond to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2024 (Vietnam Law Day) and provided training on knowledge and skills to communicate draft policies on a number of new legal documents.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Justice Bui Dinh Son emphasized: Vietnam Law Day 2024 in Thanh Hoa province with the theme "Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of law-making and law enforcement; supporting, accompanying, and enhancing the capacity of people and businesses to access the law; improving discipline, responsibility, effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the fields of the Judicial sector to meet the requirements of building a socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam".

To promote the responsibility of State agencies in disseminating and raising public awareness, improving the effectiveness of law enforcement, and respecting administrative order and discipline, the Department of Justice has issued plans, directed and guided sectors and levels to deploy activities during the peak period of responding to Vietnam Law Day with many diverse, rich and practical forms that have been widely deployed throughout the province in response to the Law Day, such as: Issuing official dispatches to guide units and localities to promptly deploy activities in response to the Law Day in 2024; organizing conferences in response to the Law Day associated with communicating draft policies that have a great impact on society in the process of developing legal documents in the management field according to the law-making program of the National Assembly and the Government in 2023 and 2024; hanging banners and slogans to propagate the Law Day at agency headquarters and main roads in Thanh Hoa city; Communication on Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Electronic information page for disseminating legal education on the Electronic information portal of the Department of Justice in response to Law Day and other forms suitable to the actual situation of the unit and legal regulations...

To spread the spirit of respect for the Constitution and the law, Director of the Department of Justice Bui Dinh Son suggested that delegates attending the conference focus on prioritizing the implementation of the following contents: Continuing to thoroughly grasp, raise awareness, and effectively implement the Resolution of the 13th Central Committee, Session 6, on "Continuing to build and perfect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's rule of law state in the new period"; closely linking law-making with law enforcement, in order to improve the effectiveness of legal dissemination and education (LED).
