On the morning of June 14, the opening ceremony of the training cooperation program between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Tuoi Tre Newspaper took place at the editorial office. This is also a new media training model in Vietnam. For the first time, a press agency has participated in training some modules in the regular university program.

With this training program, students will learn how to organize photos in the media, produce electronic media products, and design media publications at the Tuoi Tre Newspaper editorial office.
The teaching staff are reporters, editors, and managers with many years of experience in journalism. In addition to providing basic knowledge of the course and practical guidance, students will be brought to departments with the guidance of reporters and editors, and participate in the production of real products.
For the first time, a press agency has participated in training some modules in the regular university program, making many students excited to participate.
Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Quang Hao, Head of the Faculty of Creative Communication at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, said that journalism and communication training in Vietnam has long been conducted only in university lecture halls, with internships and practicums at press agencies. However, the nature of the profession requires students to have early access to reality.
"With the new training model, some practical modules will be brought to press agencies for direct teaching. Students will soon accumulate media thinking when being guided by reporters and participating in the production of real products. That is the way to learn thinking from real-life teachers" - Associate Professor Hao emphasized.
