BTO-On the afternoon of July 11, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the Naval Region 4 Command on the policy of "Navy adoptive child adoption" in the province. Attending the meeting were Comrade Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh - Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 4 Command, along with representatives of Brigade 681 - Naval Region 2, and leaders of relevant departments and branches.
At the meeting, the Naval Region 4 Command and relevant agencies presented the purpose, significance and discussed the scale and planning to implement the activity "Navy adopts adopted children" in the province. In principle, the beneficiaries of the above activity are children of fishermen in coastal areas under 18 years old who are in difficult circumstances, orphans, sick... The content of the activity is to support monthly expenses for children of fishermen; visit, give necessities, examine and take care of the health of fishermen's families according to prescribed criteria.
This activity aims to continue expanding and improving the effectiveness of the implementation of the program objectives "Vietnam Navy as a support for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea". Thereby contributing to sharing difficulties with fishermen's families, enhancing the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, military-civilian solidarity; consolidating and enhancing trust, helping fishermen feel secure to go offshore and stick to the sea to exploit seafood while protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
Comrade Nguyen Minh affirmed that the province agreed to implement the activity "Navy adopts adopted children" in the area and will accompany the Naval Region 4 Command throughout the implementation process, because this is a very meaningful and practical activity for fishermen in the coastal areas of Binh Thuan.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Command of Naval Region 4 to develop a specific plan for coordination in implementation. The Provincial Border Guard Command must preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, and coastal localities to review and make a list to ensure strictness and correctness of the beneficiaries according to the prescribed content and criteria. At the same time, call for the joint response of organizations, individuals, and businesses in supporting fishermen and fishermen's children so that the activities can be spread strongly and effectively.
