TV series "Quintessence of Quang Nam's Crafts" airs on QRT in September 2024

The television documentary series “Quintessence of Quang Nam Crafts” will air on QRT in September 2024. Each episode is 20 minutes long; fully, detailedly, and vividly reflects traditional crafts and traditional craft villages; including geographical indications, history of formation and development from the past to the present; clearly showing the quintessence of crafts, conservation trends and development of each craft village in the province; prioritizing localities with many traditional crafts and craft villages with a long history of formation, existence and development, creating famous brands to help identify and position the Quang Nam brand.

20 episodes of the television documentary “Quintessence of Quang Nam Crafts” (from episode 1 to episode 20) include: Quintessence of Quang Nam Crafts (overview), Thanh Ha pottery - breathing life into the land, Phuoc Kieu - Quintessence of Quang Nam bronze casting, the ever-echoing sound of Lam Yen drums, Hong Lu blacksmithing, Kim Bong flower patterns, the story of Huong village (Quan Huong Thang Binh village), Ma Chau silk, the quintessence of Co Tu brocade, corn hammocks, Triem Tay mat village, Que Ninh conical hats, Chiem Son brooms, Cam Thanh bamboo and coconut, forest products (weaving craft of ethnic minorities), colors of the old town (Hoi An lantern making craft), the sweetness of the countryside (traditional sugar making craft), Thanh Chau bird's nest, the saltiness of the sea (Cua Khe fish sauce craft village), Tra Que vegetables.

Taking craft and craft villages as the main subjects, 20 episodes of the television documentary “Quintessence of Quang Nam Crafts” will contribute to preserving and promoting the cultural values of craft villages, serving as a bridge to bring traditional craft villages into international integration, bringing people more jobs and opportunities to get rich right in their homeland.
