Vietstock is the leading international exhibition on livestock, animal feed, veterinary medicine, aquaculture and meat processing in Vietnam, part of the livestock exhibition chain in Asia, held since 2004. At the Vietstock 2024 press conference on the afternoon of September 11 in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Pham Kim Dang - Deputy Director of the Department of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development assessed Vietstock 2024 as an important trade promotion and trading event for the Vietnamese livestock industry. “In the current context, Vietstock is an opportunity for livestock breeders, businesses, and cooperatives to access and produce modern products in the world. This is also a gathering place for investors, scientists, and domestic producers to meet partners, transfer technology, seek business opportunities, and apply livestock solutions suitable for Vietnam's livestock development. Thereby, promoting the sustainable development of the livestock industry, ” Mr. Thang emphasized.

In addition, this year, at the opening ceremony on October 9, the prestigious Vietstock Awards 2024 in the livestock industry (chaired by the Department of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) will honor businesses, organizations, and cooperatives that have made outstanding, inspiring, and meaningful contributions to the development of Vietnam's livestock industry.

According to the exhibition organizer, Vietstock Awards 2024, there will be 8 awards for the Livestock & Aquaculture industry in Vietnam, including: Outstanding livestock enterprise in livestock waste treatment and management technology; Outstanding livestock enterprise in closed value chain linkage; Outstanding livestock enterprise in developing circular economy in Vietnam; Outstanding enterprise in biosafety livestock farming; Outstanding enterprise in manufacturing livestock waste treatment products; Outstanding enterprise in manufacturing livestock equipment; Outstanding enterprise in manufacturing mixed animal feed; Outstanding enterprise in manufacturing supplementary animal feed; Outstanding enterprise in producing livestock breeds.
