The concert "Museum of Regret" is divided into 3 separate chapters with different musical colors. The first chapter opens with famous songs, loved by many audiences from the past until now by Vu: "Phut ban dau", "Loi yeu em", "Cham lai"... renewed with vibrant arrangements, heating up the concert stage right from the first minutes.
Chapter 2 is nostalgic with acoustic songs, with the rustic image of Vu. with a guitar on stage, recalling the early days of his musical career. Chapter 3 of the concert opens with Vu.'s invitation to take the audience on a journey to discover "The Museum of Regrets" - songs from the 3rd studio album of the same name that has just been released.
More than 8,000 audiences attended the concert in Ho Chi Minh City alone, proving the appeal of Vu. as well as the songs in the album "Museum of Regret". Previously, many ticket categories were sold out in a short time. All tickets for the concert were also sold out right before the show started. Vu. could not hide his emotions and bowed to thank the audience of Ho Chi Minh City at the end of the concert. After the success of the concert in Ho Chi Minh City, Vu.'s concert "Museum of Regret" will continue to Hanoi on October 26.
Recently, musician Duc Tri also had a live concert "Co doi lan" with more than 4,000 audiences. Musician Duc Tri is probably one of the first musicians in Vietnam to organize a solo live concert in a large space with thousands of seats like Military Zone 7 Stadium. Audiences who enjoy Duc Tri's music are used to the space of theaters and tea rooms. Organizing in a stadium space is a challenge, but Duc Tri and his team have overcome it and conquered the hearts of the audience.
The live concert "Co doi lan" is a music program where the audience can immerse themselves in an artistic space, bearing the imprints of each period of musician Duc Tri's compositions. These can be love songs associated with the Green Wave period of Vietnamese music, works full of contemplation when Duc Tri studied abroad in Boston (USA) or songs with the sound of homeland and country.
The live concert "Co doi lan" is considered a new milestone in the long-standing career of musician Duc Tri. His composing career spans many decades, so he has many famous songs that have captivated many generations of audiences - especially in the early 2000s associated with the program Lan Song Xanh.
Duc Tri's love songs possess unforgettable romantic melodies, refined lyrics, and are a harmonious continuation between the younger generation of musicians and their veteran predecessors. Duc Tri's music does not stop at love between couples but extends to love for homeland, country, and country. It seems that any audience can find a part of themselves in his songs, to be passionate and empathize.
Not only composing music, contributing significantly to the careers of many V-pop stars, musician Duc Tri also affirmed his name through participating in film music, participating in music festivals, experimental music projects...
Duc Tri's music spans the genres of "ethnic - classical - modern", both composing and participating in the role of arrangement and in each position he has achieved remarkable achievements.
Mark the milestones
For musicians, solo live shows are rare. Usually, musicians have to have a very special milestone before they can do their own live show. This is understandable because musicians often have fewer fans than singers and organizing a concert is expensive, the risks in terms of ticket sales and revenue are often very high.
Recently, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy the concert "Alone and Vast" by Do Bao; the live show "Nguyen Nhat Huy 30 years of love songs" in 2023 (celebrating his 30th year in the profession); or the live show "Like a wandering wind" by Duc Tri marking his 50th birthday; musician Duc Huy had the live concert "What comes naturally" (marking 60 years of making music); musician Nguyen Hai Phong had the live show "Listen to the wind tell" (20 years of composing); musician Tran Tien had "Tran Tien - Half a century of wandering" - an opportunity to look back on his musical journey "spanning" over 2 centuries at the age of 76...
Most musicians believe that doing shows and concerts for musicians is a bit more difficult than for singers. However, in the past few years, the role of musicians and producers has been increasingly emphasized in music products. Therefore, the audience also has a more complete and accurate view of musicians.
Show organizers also acknowledge that good composers and singers are always capable of creating "sold-out" shows. Musicians who are also good at speaking, like Duc Huy, are also very attractive to audiences.
Musician Nguyen Hai Phong believes that it is also necessary to pay attention to shaping the color of the show and observing the market. He has chosen an intimate organization format, creating a space for people to interact, targeting audiences with high spending ability. According to him, this direction is also quite difficult, but he still maintains it because he wants to have his own story in the music market.
