After passing the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi, what procedures do candidates need to do?

According to the newly issued plan of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, after being admitted to grade 10 of non-specialized and specialized public high schools, candidates need to go to the secondary school - where they studied grade 9 to receive the "Admission results notice for grade 10 high school for the 2023-2024 school year", receive documents and secondary school transcripts.

Then, students will submit it to the high school where they are admitted to grade 10. This is an important procedure for admitted students. The time to do this procedure is from July 5 to 7. Students can confirm their admission directly or online.

The Department also requested that before 11:00 a.m. on July 5, public schools and specialized schools announce the list of entrance exam results for grade 10 for the 2023-2024 school year.

Students should note that if they have been admitted to their first choice, they will not be considered for their second and third choices. Students who are not admitted to their first choice will be considered for their second choice; students who are not admitted to their first and second choices will be considered for their third choice.

In case students have a request for review, no later than July 25, the Department of Education and Training will receive the review results at the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, then return the "Admission Result Notification after Review" to the student.

Yesterday afternoon, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the benchmark scores for grade 10 this year, with schools increasing their benchmark scores from 0.5 to 4 points compared to last year.
