Conference on improving the quality and efficiency of cultural institutions

(Fatherland) - As planned, on November 8, in Hai Phong city, a conference on improving the quality and efficiency of the system of cultural and sports institutions at all levels will be held, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The purpose of the Conference is to strengthen state management in the field of institutions and culture at all levels; Evaluate the performance of the institutional and cultural system at all levels; Identify directions, tasks and propose solutions for the next phase; Evaluate the implementation of documents on the grassroots cultural and sports institutional system for the period 2020-2024.

In the Plan attached to Decision 3073/QD-BVHTTDL dated October 17, 2024, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy requested that the organization of the Conference must be carefully prepared, practical and effective. Ensure close coordination with relevant agencies and units and complete tasks according to plan.

Regarding the composition, it is expected that about 300 delegates will attend the Conference to improve the quality and efficiency of the cultural and sports institutional system at all levels.

Central delegates include leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (chair). Department of Grassroots Culture (organizing unit). Units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Department of Physical Education and Sports; Department of Performing Arts; Department of Cinema; Department of Planning and Finance, Department of Personnel Organization, Department of Legal Affairs, Department of Ethnic Culture.

For local delegates, there will be leaders of the People's Committee, Department of Culture and Sports and leaders of the Department of Culture and Information of districts and towns of Hai Phong City; representatives of the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of the leaders of the professional departments in charge of cultural and sports institutions under the Department; representatives of the leaders of the Cultural Center, representatives of the leaders of the professional departments under the provincial Cultural Center.

The content of the conference focuses on: Evaluating the implementation of legal policies in the management and use of cultural and sports institutions at all levels in the period of 2020-2024. Advantages, difficulties, lessons learned. Issues arising in advising and implementing legal policies in the management and use of cultural and sports institutions at all levels in the following years. Proposing solutions and recommendations. Announcing some new documents.
