According to an urgent notice issued by the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the conclusion of the specialized inspection of the implementation of regulations on management and operation of electricity supply of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and related units was signed and issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade on July 10.
This conclusion will be announced this morning (July 12) at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Participants include: Inspection team according to Decision No. 1377/QD-BCT and Decision No. 1427/QD-BCT; Supervision team according to Decision No. 1378/QD-BCT; Appraisal team according to Decision No. 1680/QD-BCT.
For EVN, including the leadership, representatives of the Party Committee, Youth Union, EVN Trade Union, advisory boards; leaders of member units: National Power System Control Center; National Power Transmission Corporation; power corporations (Hanoi City, Ho Chi Minh City, power in the North, Central, South); Power Generation Corporations 1, 2, 3.
In addition, there were also leaders of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, Oil and Gas Power Corporation; TKV Power Corporation, Dong Bac Corporation...
Implementing the Prime Minister's direction, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien requested the inspection team to clarify the supply and proactive provision of fuel for power plants; operation of the power system; mobilization of power sources (technically), fairness; power transmission issues; and mobilization of transitional renewable energy sources.
The Inspection Team was also assigned by the Minister to "proceed urgently and decisively within 30 days including holidays".
On July 7, EVN sent a report to the Inspection Team on issues related to electricity supply. Then, EVN sent a written report to the Inspection Team on the rights and responsibilities of EVN and its units in the work of regulating, operating the power system and managing electricity production.
In mid-June, EVN temporarily suspended Mr. Nguyen Duc Ninh from his position as Director of the National Power System Control Center to serve the specialized inspection work in the management and operation of electricity supply.
