Vinamilk’s experience space quickly attracted a large number of people to exchange milk cartons for recycled gifts. Many people brought dozens to hundreds of neatly arranged empty milk cartons to exchange for gifts.

Having collected nearly 30 cartons of milk at home, Ms. Hong Van (Binh Thanh District) and her daughter happily came to exchange gifts at the Vinamilk experience space. “When I heard about the program, I instructed my child to follow it and he was very excited to wait until this morning to exchange gifts,” Ms. Van said.

Ms. Van also said that exchanging gifts is to motivate her children to do it, but the bigger meaning is to educate her children on how to live green, reuse used things around them, and protect the living environment.

Similar to Ms. Van and her children, many other children were also brought by their parents to exchange trash for gifts.

Many plastic bags containing dozens to hundreds of paper milk cartons were brought in by users to exchange for interesting recycled gifts.

According to the announced format, 16 empty beverage cartons can be exchanged for 1 green gift combo (2 cartons of Green Farm fresh milk and 1 e-voucher worth 30,000 VND purchased at Vinamilk stores);

24 paper boxes can be exchanged for 1 Green Farm sedge bag or cute Capybara keychain and 1 e-voucher worth 30,000 VND...

Talking to Tuoi Tre Online , a Vinamilk representative said that up to this point, more than 10,000 milk cartons have been brought in by people to exchange for gifts.

“Our initial plan was to give out only 20 tickets to the farm, but now it has increased to 30. In addition, the 500 expected gifts have been given out to users. We are continuing to add gifts to ensure that everyone who comes to the program receives a gift,” said a Vinamilk representative.

Exciting experiences at Green Vietnam

At ACB Bank's experience space, many young people enthusiastically participated in the check-in program, answered questions and drew lucky numbers to receive recycled gifts.

“Since morning, I have experienced many activities at the Green Vietnam festival and found it very interesting. We have received gifts and learned more information and knowledge about green living and recycling, which is very useful for life,” Kim Ngan (Binh Thanh district) happily shared while experiencing the festival with her group of students.

At Toyota's space, many young people experienced virtual reality about the driving safety system, as well as learned about technologies that help reduce emissions and increase environmental friendliness.

“I don’t have a driver’s license and have never driven a car before, but virtual reality provides quite interesting experiences. Trying it out helps me gain more knowledge about safe driving,” Thu Thuy (Thu Duc City) shared.

Meanwhile, Cho Tot's experience space advises users on how to exchange used items, participate in the challenge of finding 5 differences related to the environment and used items...

Many users enjoy participating in the experience because they are then photographed using AI technology to print cartoon character stickers based on their portraits.

"By participating in the Green Vietnam Festival 2024 of Tuoi Tre newspaper, Cho Tot hopes to inspire young people about a green, sustainable and environmentally responsible lifestyle," said Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Ngoc, director of operations at Cho Tot.

After visiting all the spaces at the festival and experiencing many activities, Ms. Hong Uyen, the Southern director of a media company, commented: “The event had many interesting activities. I was quite surprised by the products made from recycled plastic, which not only have high use value but also ensure aesthetics.

In addition, when I learned about the strict and modern recycling process, I had more confidence in this activity and felt comfortable using recycled products in the future."
