Production of paper and votive paper faces difficulties from the consumer market

Tan Thai Thanh Company Limited, Thiet Ke Commune, Ba Thuoc District, produces about 130 to 150 tons of paper and votive paper from bamboo each month for export to Taiwan and China markets.

However, recently, due to the difficult consumer market, the company has only maintained moderate production activities, reaching only one-third of capacity.

Currently, in Thanh Hoa province, there are hundreds of forest product processing establishments, including more than 10 enterprises processing forest products from bamboo and rattan to produce paper, pulp and votive paper.

Enterprises said that recently, the consumer market has encountered many difficulties, the output price of paper and votive paper products has also decreased by about 10-20%, which has greatly affected production activities. Many enterprises only maintain 30-50% of capacity to ensure moderate production activities.
