International transport output has therefore grown well, reaching over 40,000 passengers on many days, exceeding previous peaks. Taking into account both international and domestic passengers, the transport output of Noi Bai airport has grown steadily, expected to increase by about 5-7% compared to normal.

It is forecasted that in the week before and after Tet, there will be about 90,000 passengers and 550 flights passing through the airport every day.

On the two peak days, January 24 (December 25) and February 2 (the 5th day of Tet), the airport is estimated to welcome about 100,000 passengers and 590 flights.

The port is applying level 1 enhanced aviation security control measures from January 26 to February 2 (from December 27 to the 5th day of Tet) according to the decision of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.

To ensure a smooth journey, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Director of Noi Bai Airport, recommends that passengers carefully check flight information through airline channels, the airport website or the iNIA application. Passengers should proactively arrive at the airport early: 3 hours in advance for international flights and 2 hours in advance for domestic flights.

After checking in, passengers need to quickly move through the security check area.

Passengers need to prepare full identification documents, luggage, personal belongings according to regulations and follow the instructions of airline staff.

During peak days, passengers should limit the number of relatives picking them up at the station and prioritize using public transportation to reduce the load on the station and parking lot. Passengers should also check their ETC card accounts to ensure they have enough money to pay when going through the non-stop toll booth at Noi Bai airport.
