Continuously opening international flights

(NLDO)- From March 30, Vietnam Airlines will officially operate direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing (China) via Beijing Daxing Airport (PKX).


The new route Ho Chi Minh City - Daxing (Beijing) will be operated with a frequency of 5 flights/week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays using Airbus A321 aircraft.

In addition to the new route, Vietnam Airlines also increased the frequency of flights on the Hanoi - Beijing route (Beijing Capital International Airport - PEK) to 7 flights/week.

Daxing International Airport is the largest airport in the world, one of the most modern aviation projects in the world, designed to reduce the load on Beijing International Airport and become an important transit hub in the region. With a fast connecting transportation system, passengers only take about 40 - 50 minutes to travel from Daxing Airport to the center of Beijing.

With the opening of new routes, Vietnam Airlines will operate a total of 6 routes connecting Vietnam and China, including Hanoi - Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City - Daxing (Beijing), Hanoi - Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City - Shanghai, Hanoi - Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City - Guangzhou.

The total number of flights between the two countries also reaches 40 flights per week, meeting the travel needs of passengers from both countries.

From June 1, 2025, Vietnam Airlines will launch a direct flight from Nha Trang to Busan, with a frequency of one flight per day. This is a new regular route to meet the increasing travel demand between the two coastal cities of Vietnam and Korea, while expanding the airline's connection network in the Northeast Asia region.

The opening of the Nha Trang - Busan route not only marks a step forward in Vietnam Airlines' international market expansion strategy but also contributes to promoting economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries.

This is the 7th route connecting Vietnam with Korea operated by Vietnam Airlines, including Hanoi - Seoul, Ho Chi Minh City - Seoul, Da Nang - Seoul, Nha Trang - Seoul, Hanoi - Busan, Ho Chi Minh City - Busan and soon Nha Trang - Busan. The total number of flights between the two countries is more than 50 flights per week, meeting the travel needs of passengers from both countries.

In just the first month of 2025, Noi Bai International Airport has had 3 new international airlines opening flights, contributing to increasing the number of international visitors here.

Most recently, at 11:50 a.m. on January 24, AirAsia Cambodia flight KT620 from Phnom Penh, Cambodia landed at Noi Bai airport after 2 hours of flight, officially opening a regular round-trip international commercial flight between Phnom Penh and Hanoi.

This new route will operate three round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays using Boeing A320 aircraft.

According to statistics, currently, on average, there are more than 40,000 international visitors arriving through Noi Bai every day, surpassing the peak of previous years.
