SABECO was honored in the Top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam 2024

Forbes Vietnam has just held an award ceremony for the "List of 50 best listed companies" in 2024, with the list featuring leading enterprises in many fields, representing typical business lines and also names that have been listed on the stock exchange for many years. SABECO recorded the highest profit in 7 consecutive quarters . Of which, Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation ( SABECO ) entered the Top 50 list for the 7th time with revenue and profit of VND 30,461.37 billion and VND 4,117 billion (2023 business results), respectively. To make the List of 50 best listed companies in 2024, companies listed on HSX and HNX are evaluated through many steps. In the preliminary round, companies need to meet the following conditions: making a profit in 2023, revenue and capitalization of at least VND 500 billion. In the next round, companies are quantitatively scored on five criteria: compound growth rate of revenue, profit, ROE, ROC and EPS growth in the period 2019 - 2023. In 2024, Sabeco plans to have revenue of VND 34,397 billion, up 12.9% over the same period, and expected after-tax profit of VND 4,580 billion, up 7.6% compared to the actual performance in 2023.

In the first quarter of 2024, SABECO recorded a 15.6% increase in revenue to VND 7,183.5 billion, a 2% increase in after-tax profit to VND 1,023.7 billion, and completed 22.4% of the profit plan of VND 4,580 billion. In the second quarter of 2024, Sabeco recorded a revenue of VND 8,086.3 billion, equal to 97.3% over the same period, and an increase in after-tax profit of 9% to VND 1,318.9 billion. In which, the gross profit margin improved from 29.9% to 30.2%. The business results of the second quarter of 2024 showed that SABECO still affirmed its good management quality by significantly reducing many expenses, thereby contributing to increasing the company's business efficiency. Winning a series of awards at the World Beer Awards 2024 for product lines At the recent World Beer Awards 2024, an award honoring special beers from around the world, all four of SABECO's Lager Beer product lines achieved high positions. Specifically: Saigon Export Premium Beer and Saigon Special Beer won the silver award, Lac Viet Beer and Saigon Export Beer received the gold award. Most impressively, Lac Viet Beer received the title of "World's Best Light Lager Beer" when compared to other competitors, in the beer category with an alcohol content of 2.6 - 4.5%. Joining the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance to strengthen ESG vision On August 13, SABECO officially became a member of the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam).
