Reviewing preparations for the New Year countdown program

Today, December 28, the Provincial People's Committee worked with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH,TT&DL) and related departments, branches and units to review preparations for the organization of the New Year countdown program - Countdown Quang Tri 2024. The New Year Countdown Program - Countdown Quang Tri 2024 will take place on the evening of December 31, 2023 at the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center, sponsored by TTC International Beer Joint Stock Company (Camel Beer). The program has free Camel beer drinking game pens, interactive game programs starting from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. is the elaborately staged New Year's music concert program, promising to be grand and exciting, with the participation of famous singers and artists such as Ho Quang Hieu, Vinh Khuat, Gemma Nguyen...; the New Year's fireworks countdown program.

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Minh Tuan reported on the overall preparation for the program. Up to this point, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Camel Beer, the event organizer and related departments, branches and units, Dong Ha City have basically completed the preparation work to ensure the program takes place successfully and impressively.

Representatives of a number of relevant departments, branches and units have contributed many enthusiastic and highly responsible ideas to the program, such as: choosing songs to perform that are outstanding, attractive, lively, youthful and create a joyful, exciting feeling, attracting viewers; ensuring security, order and traffic safety; arranging medical staff and vehicles in reasonable locations; arranging convenient locations for reporters to work; proactively doing a good job of environmental sanitation before, during and after the program ends...

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam emphasized: The New Year Countdown Program - Countdown Quang Tri 2024 is a cultural, artistic and entertainment program serving the people; contributing to promoting tourism development; promoting the image of the land and people of Quang Tri.

In recent days, the program has received much attention from all walks of life. Although it is the first time to organize it, the province is determined to bring a unique and impressive program in many aspects and make it a basis for organizing it annually.

In that spirit, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Camel Beer, the event organizer and departments, branches, and Dong Ha City to continue to coordinate closely to review, edit, supplement and perfect the program script to ensure high cultural, artistic and entertainment values, in which it is necessary to pay attention to building a good program with high cultural and artistic content; re-balancing the songs appropriately, being appraised to ensure the requirements on content and music quality to create a vibrant, exciting, attractive cultural and artistic space and create many joyful and exciting emotions for the people; at the same time, doing a good job of security, order, traffic safety, health, etc.
