Prensa Latina President Luis Enrique Gonzalez said the 76-page book Fidel Castro - For Vietnam, I Will Give My Blood!, produced in collaboration with the Vietnam News Agency, includes dozens of images, most of which have never been published or are little known, along with articles by renowned journalists from Prensa Latina who witnessed the event.

At the meeting, Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Fredesman Turró González spoke about the events in the journey of the Cuban revolutionary leader and did not hesitate to describe the meeting between Fidel Castro and the Vietnamese people as a tribute, an event that fulfilled common wishes and marked the bilateral relationship.

Journalist Jorge Luna, co-author of the book (with journalist Víctor Carriba), emphasized that Fidel Castro's visit to the newly liberated area was a great source of encouragement and motivation for the Vietnamese army and people, and at the same time created a great resonance promoting the solidarity movement worldwide.

At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Le Thanh Tung said that this event was cherished by Vietnam with special affection and thanked Cuba for its support during the fierce war as well as the country's later reconstruction.

He stressed the importance of the book in educating the young generations of Cuba and Vietnam about the solidarity and cooperation, which was reinforced in difficult times by President Fidel Castro and President Ho Chi Minh.

The book is printed solemnly in 4 colors, presented in Spanish and English and uses many photos of Vietnam News Agency.
