The Tet movie “The Four Guardians” directed by Tran Thanh had its premiere in Hanoi at Galaxy Mipec Long Bien with a full cast and director. The two beauty queens Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen and Tran Tieu Vy received many compliments when they first took on two long-term and psychologically profound roles.
The film premiere was attended by many famous artists such as People's Artist Le Khanh, People's Artist Thanh Lam, actors Lan Phuong, Tri Minh, Miss Huong Giang, choreographer Dang Quan, runners-up Phuong Nga, Tu Anh...
The main characters of the film include Uncle Eleven (Tran Thanh, also the film's director), Aunt Four (Le Giang), Chet-xi-ca (Le Duong Bao Lam), Con Kieu (Uyen An) and the trio Quoc Anh (Quoc Anh), Quynh Anh (Tieu Vy) and Karen (Ky Duyen) had an exchange with the audience at the Hanoi premiere red carpet.
Before officially launching the 2025 Tet comedy film project, director Tran Thanh expressed his gratitude to his family, friends and colleagues through his intimate sharing: “The Four Guardians is a comedy, rich in emotions, and its multidimensionality will be revealed through many relationships in life. Fortunately, my previous projects have been loved and welcomed by audiences in the North. So I hope that this time, with a film with a lighter atmosphere and more humorous details, Tran Thanh and his crew will continue to conquer the hearts of our audiences.”
At the end of the film, the guests gave warm applause and shared their feelings with director Tran Thanh and the cast. “This is a movie that families cannot miss during the 2025 Tet season. We especially love the quartet, just the appearance of 4 characters brings endless laughter, full of charm, humor and emotion”, rapper Bigdaddy expressed.
Feeling about the music in the film, especially the song "Khong oc do" performed by rapper Captain Boy's "younger brother", singer Duong Edward said: "The song is not only a soundtrack but also contributes to increasing the excitement and enthusiasm for viewers when following the mischievous journey of the quartet."
Impressed with Uyen An and Quoc Anh's comedy performances, actress Lan Phuong shared: "Compared to previous roles, I was especially surprised with Uyen An in the Con Kieu version. It is clear that whether it is a drama or a comedy, Uyen An performs very well. At the same time, I congratulate Quoc Anh on his successful return to the big screen and his growing maturity."
In particular, People's Artist Le Khanh praised director Tran Thanh and the performances of the trio Quoc Anh, Ky Duyen and Tieu Vy. People's Artist Le Khanh also highly appreciated the acting of the two beauty queens. Tieu Vy and Ky Duyen when he said that director Tran Thanh had brought out the right "flow" of acting for these two "amateur" actors. Attending the premiere to support director Tran Thanh, Miss Huong Giang shared that she felt that in this film, Tran Thanh had evoked the personalities of two Misses Tieu Vy and Ky Duyen, bringing those personalities to the big screen, helping the two actors create two contrasting and special colors. The two roles of Karen and Quynh Anh seemed to be tailor-made for the two Misses.
The screening was attended by actor Quoc Anh's parents. As a familiar face in Vietnamese television dramas and extremely loved through the film "We of 8 Years Later", this is the fourth film that Quoc Anh has starred in after a long time. The actor's parents shared: "The film is very fun and emotional. We were very surprised by our son's performance in the main role. We would like to thank director Tran Thanh, the cast and crew, and hope the film will be a great success."
