The event was jointly organized by ICEP - Hanoi Classy and Thong Nhat Park on the evening of September 1 to meet the needs of creating a community cultural area, developing the economy and preserving and promoting the nation's cultural heritage.

After many months of planning and implementing a pilot model, on September 1, the "Creative Art Space on the Walking Street Connecting Thong Nhat Park" officially came into operation.
The event was designed with the theme of Hanoi in the 90s gradually changing through the subsidy period, in the green natural space of Thong Nhat Park. With booths bearing the colors of youth, full of creativity attracting young people. Along with that are food booths with Hanoi specialties such as Pho Hang Chieu, Com Lang Vong... to regional dishes managed by Nam Dinh Culinary Culture Association and SlowFood Vietnam.
In addition, the launch of the Sol Lock stage on weekend nights, blending folk melodies with other modern music genres, promises to become a cultural intersection, a meeting point between generations in the capital.

Ms. Phan Thu Hang, Director of the UNESCO Center for Conservation and International Cultural Exchange, said: "The appearance of the Creative Art Space at Thong Nhat Park walking street will bring many sources of inspiration to young people, those who love nature, love sports and love Hanoi."
Previously, in December 2022, the Hanoi People's Committee agreed on a plan to remove the fence and expand the walking street space of Thong Nhat Park.
Phase 1, Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee implemented is the walking street space in Tran Nhan Tong area and connecting the main axis of Thong Nhat Park with the entire flower garden, trees, and roads around Thien Quang Lake.
From December 30, 2022, the walking street officially came into operation and attracted many people to participate in experiences and community activities.
