Quynh Phu: Inauguration of solidarity house for poor households

On the morning of June 9, Quynh Phu District Youth Union coordinated with the District Fatherland Front Committee to inaugurate a great solidarity house for Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao, Son Dong village, Quynh Giao commune (Quynh Phu).

Units and organizations presented financial support to the family representative of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao is a poor household in the commune, with extremely difficult circumstances. She lives alone in a 20m2 level ⁴ house that has deteriorated; she is also often sick and has to be treated in the hospital. With no income, all her activities mainly depend on her family members. Realizing Ms. Dao's difficult circumstances, through a field survey, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Phu district called on and mobilized organizations, unions and individuals to support funding to rebuild a new house for Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao.

The ^35m2 house, which started construction on April 9, has now been completed with a total cost of 150 million VND, of which the District Fatherland Front Committee and the Youth Union at all levels in Quynh Phu District mobilized 55 million VND; the remaining amount was from the help and support of family members.

Organizations and units visited the new house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao's family.

At the house inauguration ceremony, units, organizations and local authorities presented financial support and gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao, thereby demonstrating the concern of organizations and unions for households in difficult circumstances in the district.

On the same morning, Quynh Phu District Youth Union held the inauguration ceremony of the "lighting up the countryside road" project in Quynh Hoa commune, funded by the Provincial Youth Union and Quynh Phu District Youth Union.
