On the afternoon of August 8, Aristino and Vietnam Women's Newspaper announced a strategic cooperation and launched the campaign "Wear. Care. Share - Standard style. Quality love" to raise funds for Mottainai.
The program aims to raise funds to support children who are victims of traffic accidents, orphans due to Covid-19, children in difficult circumstances, and 10 open houses and orphanage centers in provinces and cities nationwide.
Actress Thanh Huong gave the program a set of costumes worn in the movie "Life is still beautiful".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuc Hanh - Head of the program's organizing committee said that over the past 10 years, the program has created many meaningful activities such as sharing and supporting, promoting green lifestyle, protecting the environment; selling/auctioning and reusing millions of items to donate to support orphans, children affected by traffic accidents, Covid-19 across the country.
"I hope we will continue to spread Mottainai's humane values in the community and the network of love and sharing from the program will expand more and more.
On this occasion, we would also like to announce the launch of the club "Give love - Receive happiness".
This will be the “destination” for kind-hearted people, volunteers and people interested in Mottainai,” said Ms. Thuc Hanh.
At the ceremony, Vietnam Women's Newspaper announced 81 locations to receive Mottainai used clothes donations at 81 Aristino showrooms nationwide.
The clothes will be given to people in difficult circumstances across provinces and cities.

Also at the campaign announcement, players Que Ngoc Hai and Tran Thi Hai Linh (Vietnam National Women's Football Team) donated signed shirts, and actress Thanh Huong donated the costume she wore in the movie "Life is Still Beautiful" to auction to raise funds for the program.
The Mottainai 2023 program is expected to take place from May to December 2023, with the Mottainai Gala taking place on October 21-22, 2023 in Hanoi .
The four ambassadors of the program are Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac, Miss "Crescent Moon" Be Thi Bang - a girl who lost a leg due to a traffic accident, writer Hoang Anh Tu and singer-actress Akari Nakatani (Japan).
After 9 seasons of organization, it has become the largest program to donate used goods for humanitarian purposes, honoring the Green lifestyle in Vietnam, attracting more than 500,000 participants, benefiting nearly 5,000 disadvantaged children.
This year, the program plans to award Mottainai scholarships to 280 children from 54 provinces and cities across the country.
According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Public Security , in the past 10 years, on average, about 20,000 traffic accidents occurred each year, killing 7,000 people and injuring about 16,000 people. Of these, about 70% of the dead and injured were the breadwinners in their families.
In addition, in the past 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic, 4,461 Vietnamese children have become orphans, especially 193 children who have lost both parents - according to a report by the Department of Children (Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs ).
