Vietnam Family Health Care Fund "sows love" with volunteer activities at the beginning of the year

In the first months of the year of Giap Thin 2024, the Vietnam Family Health Care Fund (Fund) has implemented many charity programs for the community. This is also the 5th consecutive year that the Fund has cooperated with the Central Red Cross Society.

The programs are closely following the founding meaning of the Fund: persistently carrying out the charity mission and giving love to the disadvantaged across the S-shaped strip of land so that "giving is forever".

Giving away 420 gifts worth more than 300 million VND "Charitable Tet" Spring Giap Thin 2024

On January 27, 2024, in the freezing cold of 10 degrees, members of the working delegation of the Vietnam Family Health Fund and representatives of the Red Cross Society gave more than 220 gifts to poor people in difficult circumstances with a total value of 100 million VND in Phu Lac Commune, Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province through the Humanitarian Tet Market program.

Phu Lac is a purely agricultural commune with 5 ethnic groups living together (Kinh, Tay, Nung, San Chi, Giay) with difficult economic conditions, people's lives are still poor, so having a full Tet is quite far away. Therefore, despite the harsh weather, members of the Fund from all over the country do not hesitate to travel far to give people here not only material gifts but also spiritual gifts, showing the Fund's sharing.

The Humanitarian Tet Market Program - "Humanitarian Tet" Spring Giap Thin 2024, in addition to distributing vouchers for essential goods such as cooking oil, rice, fish sauce, etc., also includes other activities such as spring performances, 0 VND Tet booths, 0 VND haircuts, calligraphy gifts, etc. The activities received enthusiastic response from the people attending.

In the same spirit, on February 2, 2024 in Bu Dop, Binh Phuoc , the Fund also sponsored 200 gifts for the local people by giving shopping vouchers to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households to participate in the "Free Tet Charity Market". Participating in the market, people can choose essential products and goods to serve their families during Tet with a value of 500,000 VND/voucher.

Spreading the spirit of volunteerism through the campaign "Million steps of kindness"

Also in February 2024, the Colos IgGold brand sponsored 70 products worth more than 70 million VND and the Vietnam Family Health Fund sponsored 100 million VND to the Vietnam Red Cross Society in the "Million Steps of Kindness" campaign. This is a fundraising event through walking activities on the online platform Vrace to promote the spirit of health training, positive lifestyle, community connection and fundraising for charity activities across the country.

The Fund members have also actively registered to run through Vrace to spread the sports spirit to everyone and participate in fundraising for the program. It is known that the Vietnam Family Health Fund, in addition to volunteer activities, always encourages members of the Fund to actively practice sports through running and some other sports. The Fund's sports club currently has more than 200 members who actively participate in sharing their running results every day. This is to show that the Fund's motto is always to want each member to be aware of taking care of their own health proactively, thereby improving work efficiency and inspiring healthy living and sportsmanship to everyone, harmonizing comprehensive health, from physical, mental to intellectual, creating a healthy body - mind - spirit.

The Vietnam Family Health Care Fund was established in 2019 and after nearly 5 years of operation, the Fund has implemented many social security programs, including some typical activities such as: giving bicycles to students in difficult circumstances, medical examination and treatment for the poor, building nutritious kitchens for students in mountainous areas... In 2023, the Fund contributed more than 3 billion VND to social security activities, communication programs on the importance of proactive health care for many different groups of people.
