Strengthening management is one of the effective solutions that Quang Xuong district has been implementing to continuously improve the quality of sea tourism services, gradually building friendly destinations that are loved and chosen by tourists from all over the world.

Quang Xuong focuses on improving the quality of sea tourism services During the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays, Tien Trang Beach Resort (Quang Xuong) welcomed more than 50,000 visitors, earning revenue of 20 billion VND, nearly 40% higher than the same period last year.

To prepare for the 2024 beach tourism season, from the beginning of the year, Tien Trang commune has developed a plan, focusing on implementing many solutions to improve the effectiveness of management and quality of tourism services at Tien Trang Beach Tourist Area. This summer, the commune has about 300 rooms at various large and small-scale accommodation establishments. Along with that are hundreds of restaurants, refreshment stalls, shops, and tourism service kiosks serving tourists.

Secretary of Tien Trang Commune Party Committee Ngo Quoc Hung said: This year, the locality has paid special attention to improving the quality of tourism, gradually building prestige and good impressions for tourists from all over. To achieve that goal, the commune has implemented many effective solutions, focusing on organizing comprehensive inspections of accommodation establishments on ensuring security and order, fire prevention and fighting and rescue (PCCC&CNCH); compliance and ensuring food safety and hygiene for establishments providing food services, restaurants, eateries, refreshment shops... Basically, establishments and individual households have complied well with regulations, and have made careful preparations to serve tourists. Some cases of violations have been administratively handled according to the provisions of law and required to promptly correct them before being allowed to operate. A positive new point this summer tourist season is that Tien Trang commune has completely eliminated street vendors on the beach; The situation of people and tourists camping without permission, causing disorder and environmental pollution has been strictly managed; environmental sanitation work at beaches has been effectively implemented with interdisciplinary working groups and shock forces of organizations every week.

In addition, the commune has also established a rescue team with teams stationed at the beaches. Members of the sea rescue team have been trained in knowledge and skills on search and rescue to promptly respond to incidents. The commune also arranged canoes, motorboats stationed at sea, boundary buoys along the beaches, surveillance cameras, automatic warning systems (sensors) to promptly detect and handle all possible situations and most importantly, ensure absolute safety for tourists when swimming in the sea. Thanks to that, during the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays, Tien Trang tourist area welcomed over 50,000 visitors, with revenue reaching about 20 billion VND, nearly 40% higher than the same period in 2023. In particular, the number of tourists from provinces and cities in the country has increased sharply, thereby affirming the development and reputation of Tien Trang beach tourist area.

Besides Tien Trang, the Eo Gio Bai Ngang beach tourist destination in Quang Thai commune, a number of households operating community tourism models (homestays) also attracted a large number of tourists during the recent holidays. In preparation for this year's summer tourist season, the People's Committee of Quang Xuong district has inspected the conditions for businesses to be licensed to operate in accordance with the law. This has contributed to fundamentally changing the sea tourism activities in Quang Thai commune in particular and orienting households and businesses to implement community tourism models, individual and small-scale craft village tourism in coastal communes in general such as Quang Nham, Quang Thach... Through inspection, cases that do not meet the conditions to operate tourism services will be suspended, and if they violate the regulations, they will be strictly handled.

Vice Chairman of Quang Xuong District People's Committee Nguyen Huy Nam said: During the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays, Quang Xuong District welcomed over 60,000 tourists, an increase of more than 30% over the same period and the highest number in many years. The good news is that the coastal tourist spots and areas have been operating in an orderly manner, the quality of tourist services has been gradually improved; the work of ensuring security, order, food safety and hygiene has been carried out well and seriously, without any fires, drowning accidents or unfortunate incidents. In addition to the compliance of businesses and tourism service providers, the responsibility of local Party Committees and People's Committees has been raised. Inspection and supervision work is carried out regularly during the summer tourist season...

This is an important basis for Quang Xuong district to create breakthrough development, promote the development of marine tourism to become a spearhead economic sector, accounting for a significant proportion in the local economic structure. The focus is on attracting tourists to Tien Trang and Quang Thai marine eco-tourism areas; fishing village tourism in coastal communes... to build civilized, friendly and reputable marine tourism destinations... From the above solutions, Quang Xuong district strives to welcome 400,000 visitors in 2024, with revenue from tourism activities reaching 75 billion VND. Along with that, the district continues to accelerate the implementation of a number of major projects on tourism development in general and marine tourism in particular, such as: Quang Nham and Quang Thach coastal tourism urban area project (Hotel complex, commercial center project; Hotel, tourism service, resort villa project; Golf course project in Quang Nham commune); Tien Trang Eco-tourism Sports Area Project; Thanh Van Eco-tourism Resort Project, in Quang Luu Commune...
