Regarding the incident in which a restaurant in Ha Khau ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province kicked out a customer for filming him complaining about high-priced food, as reported by Tuoi Tre Online , the authorities inspected and administratively fined the restaurant for several violations.
According to the People's Committee of Ha Long City, immediately after receiving information from tourists and videos posted on social networks about the staff of Minh Phi 1 restaurant (group 94, Don Dien area, Ha Khau ward) posting unclear prices and behaving in an uncivilized manner, causing outrage among tourists, the city sent an interdisciplinary inspection team to verify the incident.
The results determined that on June 17, a group of about 10 people went to the above restaurant for lunch with a total bill of more than 2.3 million VND. After paying, the customers questioned the restaurant owner about the higher price than usual, but the group still paid in full.
During the complaint, a member of the group recorded a video of the conversation, but a man in the restaurant had an unfriendly attitude and forced the customer not to record the video, leading to an argument between the two sides.
The restaurant staff yelled and chased the guests out. Unable to find a common voice, the group of guests called the local authorities for help in resolving the issue.
Based on the inspection results, the People's Committee of Ha Khau Ward has drawn up a record and issued a decision to administratively fine Minh Phi Tourism and Trade Service Company Limited - Minh Phi 1 Restaurant a total of 6.5 million VND, due to unclear price posting, causing confusion for customers, and provoking and insulting others.

Authorities also requested that the representative of Minh Phi 1 restaurant directly call to apologize to the customer.
Ha Long City People's Committee affirmed that it will strengthen the rectification of the tourism business environment, resolutely and strictly handle establishments that deliberately violate regulations on listing prices of goods, trading in prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, and goods of unknown origin.
The city's viewpoint is not to let "one bad apple spoil the barrel", determined to build a civilized, friendly, safe and hospitable Ha Long tourism environment.
