Quang Ninh welcomes super cruise ship Costa Serena with more than 3,500 tourists back to visit Ha Long Bay

According to information from the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, the Costa Serena cruise ship departs from Hong Kong port to Ha Long. Today (September 30), tourists will visit Ha Long Bay, take a city tour to explore local culture and cuisine.

The ship will leave Ha Long at 6:00 p.m. the same day. It is known that in October and November, the Costa Serena will return to Ha Long 4 more times.

According to the plan, from now until the end of the year, Ha Long international passenger port is expected to welcome about 16 large cruise ships from world-famous corporations and brands such as: Mein Schiff 6, Celebrity Solstice, Noordam, ... carrying thousands of international tourists from Europe, America and China.

Cruise tourism season starts from October to April of the following year. Therefore, immediately after Typhoon Yagi, Ha Long International Cruise Port quickly repaired the damage and completed all conditions to welcome tourists, including cruise tourists.

This is the first cruise ship to bring tourists to Ha Long after storm No. 3, and is also the ship that kicks off the 2024 - 2025 cruise tourism season.

In parallel with opening to welcome guests from September 10, Ha Long International Passenger Port has made efforts to overcome the remaining damages to prepare the best facilities to welcome the international tourist season visiting Ha Long Bay by ship starting from September 30 to April next year.
