To rectify the above situation and at the same time strengthen the management of Ngoc Linh ginseng production and trading in the province, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province requires relevant departments, branches, units and localities to strengthen the management of Ngoc Linh ginseng quality in the province according to Directive No. 16 dated September 18, 2017 of the Provincial People's Committee. In the immediate future, it is necessary to focus on preventing acts of advertising and selling fake Ngoc Linh ginseng products on social networks and strengthening the inspection of the origin of Ngoc Linh ginseng tubers.

The Department of Information and Communications has stepped up propaganda work to inform consumers about the widespread situation of fake Ngoc Linh ginseng fraud on the internet; signs to identify real ginseng - fake ginseng to help people and tourists avoid buying fake Ngoc Linh ginseng products on the market; recommended that consumers only buy Ngoc Linh ginseng at reliable addresses with clear origins; introduced the monthly Ngoc Linh ginseng market in Nam Tra My district. In addition, presided over and coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology to handle and propose handling of production and business establishments using the domain name "samngoclinh" to advertise and sell ginseng products and other products from ginseng associated with the Ngoc Linh ginseng brand in accordance with intellectual property regulations.
In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Market Management Department directed their subordinate units to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize peak periods to strengthen inspection and supervision of the business and sale of Ngoc Linh ginseng products in the province to ensure clear origin, origin, and quality, in accordance with regulations. Promptly handle acts of commercial fraud, buying and selling of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, goods of unknown origin, etc. according to the provisions of law.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development organizes inspections of organizations and individuals engaged in the production and supply of Ngoc Linh ginseng seeds in the province; prevents and handles cases of trading in seeds and seedlings of unknown origin.
The provincial police have strengthened on-site reconnaissance to promptly detect acts of buying, selling, exchanging, and trading fake Ngoc Linh ginseng; established investigation projects for production lines, business locations, and transportation of fake ginseng products.
