Pay attention to developing Party organizations and Party members at enterprises in Industrial Parks and Hai Phong Economic Zones.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of January 21, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee held a conference to review the work in 2023; deploy directions and tasks for 2024; and celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024). Attending and directing the conference was comrade Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board.

At the Conference, delegates reviewed together the glorious and proud history of our Party over the past 94 years. Over the past 94 years since its founding, the Communist Party of Vietnam, founded and trained by President Ho Chi Minh, has led the Vietnamese revolution to gain national independence, successfully wage the resistance war, protect independence, freedom, unify the country and lead the whole country to socialism.

After nearly 2 years of being upgraded by the City Party Committee to a direct superior Party Committee of the grassroots Party organization (under the City Party Committee), the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee has gradually stabilized its organizational structure and put its activities into order, made breakthroughs in the development of the Party organization and Party members, and gradually affirmed the role and position of the direct superior Party Committee of the grassroots Party organization. Up to now, the entire Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee has 05 grassroots Party Committees and 24 grassroots Party cells in Industrial Parks and Economic Zones. The total number of Party members in the entire Party Committee is 963 comrades.

In 2023, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee basically completed all aspects of Party building work. Propaganda, dissemination and implementation of Directives and Resolutions of the Central and City Party Committees were given attention. The organization of periodic reporters' conferences and the grasp of ideas and public opinion were invested in innovation. The registration and construction of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model initially received attention from Party committees at all levels, achieving remarkable results.

The work of developing new party members and establishing party organizations exceeded the assigned targets. The Party Committee Standing Committee issued a Decision to establish 06 grassroots party organizations, directed grassroots party committees to establish 03 party organizations at enterprises; admitted 175 new party members, completing more than 100% of the target of admitting additional party members assigned by the City Party Committee in 2023; recognized 115 probationary party members as official members, and transferred party activities to 97 party members.

The order and quality of Party cell activities have been improved. The quality of cadres, especially grassroots cadres, has changed positively. Inspection and supervision work has completed the set plan. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the political organizations of the Economic Zone have basically completed their tasks, deployed many movements and activities towards the grassroots, attracting a large number of union members to participate.

At the conference, delegates discussed the aim of promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and party members in emulation in production and labor and participating in mass movements, actively contributing to the overall development of enterprises; as well as solutions to innovate operating methods, improve the quality of party cell activities in foreign-invested enterprises...

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Le Trung Kien, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, assessed that in 2023, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee had many solutions to focus on strengthening the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations; grassroots Party committees basically implemented the principle of democratic centralism, improved the quality of Party activities, strictly maintained discipline, strengthened solidarity within the Party; regularly educated, trained, improved political qualities, revolutionary ethics, qualifications, knowledge and working capacity for cadres and Party members.

Regarding the tasks in 2024, the Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board agreed with the groups of tasks and solutions proposed by the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee; in which it is necessary to develop a plan to survey the situation of party members at enterprises in industrial parks and economic zones and directions for developing party organizations at enterprises; strengthen coordination and information exchange with district party committees, county party committees, and Party Committees of the Bloc in party building work, especially the work of managing party members in industrial parks and economic zones; continue to do well in party development work, determined to complete and exceed the targets and tasks assigned by the City Party Committee in 2024; strengthen direction on improving the quality of party cell activities; direct grassroots party committees and organizations to continue implementing the model of "Skilled mass mobilization"; actively participate in party building, building increasingly strong enterprises...

At the Conference, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee decided to reward 14 collectives and 18 individuals for their excellent achievements in completing tasks and fields of Party building work in 2023.
