Kylian Mbappe to Chelsea on one-year contract?
Kylian Mbappe is reportedly ready to leave PSG to play for Chelsea, but on loan while he... waits to join Real Madrid.
Sport (Spain) said that Mbappe is ready to agree to join Stamford Bridge in this summer transfer, but only for one year and on loan.
The reason why the French striker does not want to sign more than one year with Chelsea is clear to everyone: Mbappe is only waiting until next summer to be able to leave PSG freely with the always mentioned destination being Real Madrid.
Therefore, instead of "staying put" in Paris and being a reserve, Mbappe is said to have chosen the solution of wearing Chelsea's shirt, which is still much more "beneficial": he can play on the field to maintain his form, while still ensuring the salary and bonus (loyalty) that PSG has to pay.
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is said to have met with PSG President Al-Khelaifi a few days ago to discuss the Mbappe deal.
However, PSG wants to sell him outright (to avoid being left empty-handed) next year. The club's leadership believes that the team with the greatest chance of owning Mbappe is Real Madrid (still silent), because they have an agreement with Mbappe to join the Bernabeu as a free agent next year.
On August 2, there was information that Real Madrid would only pay a very cheap price to buy Mbappe on... the last day of the summer transfer window (August 31).
PSG is angry with Real Madrid and threatens to sue for "colluding" with Mbappe, but it is very difficult to find evidence for that. And time is not waiting for the Paris team in this game.

PSG gradually completes the procedure to launch Ousmane Dembele
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said that Ousmane Dembele's move to PSG is done. He will be introduced to the Parisian team on Saturday (August 5), with a 5-year contract (until June 2028).
Romano confirmed that PSG activated Ousmane Dembele's €50m release clause on Monday and the deal will be completed in the coming hours.
Barca will receive 54% of Ousmane Dembele's transfer fee, with the remainder going to the Frenchman and his agent.
Ousmane Dembele also "upgraded" when he returned to Paris to play football, being paid 20 million Euros/season by PSG, compared to 5.7 million Euros/year by Barca.
Ousmane Dembele played his final game for Barca in the pre-season El Clasico, Barca 3-0 Real Madrid, in which he scored a beautiful goal.

Josko Gvardiol is certain to join Man City
Sky Sports said Man City will not try to let Josko Gvardiol complete his medical in time to debut in the Community Shield against Arsenal at 10pm on August 6.
Instead, coach Pep Guardiola's team has scheduled the player to undergo health tests at the weekend, before signing an official contract.
According to Bild , Man City reached an agreement with Leipzig for the Gvardiol deal with a fixed fee of 90 million Euros, with paperwork being checked and processed by both parties.
There is information that Man City will try to complete the contract with Gvardiol so that he can debut in the Community Shield, coach Pep Guardiola's team plays Arsenal at 10pm on August 6. However, the above source confirmed that is not the case.
Coach Pep Guardiola wanted to complete the Gvardiol deal soon, but Leipzig delayed the deal because they insisted on the price of 86 million pounds (96.6 million euros).
Josko Gvardiol watched RB Leipzig's friendly against St Truiden on August 2 from the stands.
Gvardiol is the second Croatian player, after Mateo Kovacic, to join Man City this summer. Last week, Kovacic said he was keen for Gvardiol to join Man City: "I know Gvardiol is young and has great potential. He can come here, learn and become the best version of himself, like he wants to be."
"I can't comment on whether it will happen or not although I would like it, I am good friends with Gvardiol as we are both Croatian. It would be nice to have a Croatian beside me here."
"Gvardiol is still young but mature for his age. He doesn't need too much advice as he has played in so many big games and I think Gvardiol is ready for this step.
He had a great World Cup and a great season with RB Leipzig so it's great for Gvardiol to go to a big club like Man City and try to improve himself even more."
