On the afternoon of August 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, Phuong My Chi announced the biggest project this year, the School Tour across Vietnam , Flying Storks Universe .

School Tour will take place in three major cities including Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City in September and October 2024, with an investment cost of no less than 10 billion VND.

Mr. Phan Anh - representative of VMAS Management Company - said that this is a gift for students so there is no commercial focus, the music nights are completely free.

Pressure to introduce 4 new songs

Phuong My Chi said that in addition to singing songs from the album Vu tru co bay , she also introduced 4 brand new songs.

Those are the songs Luom, Buon trang, Con co va Mat troi , rock Hat gao .

These songs were co-composed by Phuong My Chi and music producer DTAP.

Creative inspiration continues to be drawn from traditional Vietnamese literature and culture, but maintains a harmonious color between tradition and modernity.

The singer said he felt pressured when composing new songs because the previous songs on the album had been well received.

The song Luom was inspired by a poem by poet To Huu that many generations of students know by heart.

The song "Buong trang" was inspired by the poem "This is Vy Da village" by Han Mac Tu.

The two songs Con co and Mat troi, rock Hat gao were composed by Phuong My Chi and DTAP based on their love of culture, expressing the world of familiar fairy tale characters.

Phuong My Chi admitted that she felt pressured when composing new songs, because the 10 songs in the album Vu tru co bay were warmly received before.

Music producer DTAP informed that School Tour takes place in three regions, the music in each region will be different and have its own characteristics but still retain the inherent uniqueness of Phuong My Chi.

Folk singer Phuong My Chi said that up until now, singing Southern folk songs has been her strength. But in this cross-Vietnam show, she will also sing Central and Northern folk songs, even Chau Van or rock music.

"Chi will carefully study the way to chant, pronounce words, and take breaths so as not to disappoint the audience. This is also an opportunity for me to overcome my own challenges, to conquer rock or chau van" - Phuong My Chi shared.

Each concert has a guest singer, information about the guest singer will be revealed in the near future.

According to the organizers, the 2024 Flying Stork Universe School Tour will first take place at the University of Foreign Languages ​​(Hanoi) on September 22.

After that, the music night will take place in Da Nang on October 5 and 6.

The final location of the Flying Storks Universe School Tour is Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled for October 19 and 20. The reason for choosing Ho Chi Minh City as the final destination is because of the large-scale, special show.

Phuong My Chi will release the album Vu tru co bay Deluxe version with 14 songs on August 20.

Of which, 4 new songs will be invested in making MVs.
