On June 30, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Marching Art project held a presentation of the art program Under the Flag. This is a non-profit project on the art of Marching Band in Vietnam.
The program brings a performance combining many types of music and musical instruments from around the world, combining music, dance, and stories with strong Vietnamese national colors, to promote the community music education movement among Vietnamese youth.

The opening of the project is the art program Under the Flag . The play recounts historical stories associated with national heroes, thereby integrating meaningful messages of patriotism to young people.
The organizers said the show must gather more than 200 musicians and 50 dancers aged 7-40. In addition, the play will also incorporate 3D effects.
Director Le Viet shared: "We strive to create a project to gather young people who are passionate about this subject to form the core. Every year we will produce a play based on a theme, gathering a few hundred actors. Sometimes it is a fairy tale, sometimes it is a myth or a love story to get closer to young audiences. We want young Vietnamese people to understand more about this subject."
Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyen is also one of the program's ambassadors (Photo: Organizing Committee).
The program's music director is musician Cao Ba Hung. Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyen, dancer Hoang Yen, singer Phuong My Chi, conductor Dustin Tieu, and Ms. Truong Ngoc Minh Dang take on the role of image ambassadors for the project.
Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyen said that when she received the invitation from the Organizing Committee, she was surprised because her expertise was not in the field of music. "After the Organizing Committee explained, I was glad that this project had many elements, including acting, which is my expertise. I am very happy to contribute to the community project and the members participating in the project are young people, the future talents of the country," she confided.
As the youngest ambassador of the project, Phuong My Chi couldn't help but feel proud. The female singer confided: "Marching band is a sport that connects and increases solidarity among many people. I feel that very clearly because when making music, I also need connection and mutual understanding to create a perfect work."
The art program Under the Flag will take place on August 29 at Nguyen Du Stadium (HCMC).
Marching band is an ancient art form with a history of hundreds of years in the world, only appearing and developing in Vietnam in recent years.
The Marching band community in Vietnam with more than 600 members has spent many years practicing and constantly striving to improve.
