The Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the 2024 Culture and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land will take place from April 9-18 (ie March 1-10 of the lunar calendar) at the Hung Temple Historical Site in Viet Tri city and districts, towns and cities in Phu Tho province. The ceremony includes: The Commemoration Day of the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan and Incense Offering Ceremony in Memory of Mother Au Co on April 14 (March 6 of the lunar calendar); Incense Offering Ceremony in Memory of the Hung Kings on April 18 (March 10 of the lunar calendar); Incense Offering Ceremony in Memory of the Hung Kings of districts, towns and cities in the province from April 9-18 (March 1-10 of the lunar calendar).
The Organizing Committee presented flowers and souvenir flags to representatives of localities and units participating in cultural, sports and tourism activities.

Especially, the art program and high-altitude fireworks display at Van Lang Park lake took place on the evening of April 17, which is the 9th day of the third lunar month. Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province said: This year, the festival activities are closely linked with tourism promotion, in which the highlight is the Cultural Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land with many unique cultural activities, creating attraction and attracting tourists.
