Storm No. 3 has caused severe damage to the northern provinces, especially the northwestern mountainous provinces. Many families have been left homeless and in extreme pain after losing their loved ones. Even in the capital Hanoi, many areas have been submerged and isolated by floodwaters for many days. People are facing many difficulties in their daily lives and have suffered heavy material damage. Many areas of rice cultivation, crops, livestock, poultry, and aquaculture are at risk of being completely lost due to floodwaters.
With the spirit of "No one is left behind in natural disasters and calamities", joining hands to help people overcome the consequences of storms and floods, the Vietnam Coast Guard women's working group presented 20 gifts worth 30 million VND, along with many necessities, food and provisions to people in flood-hit areas of Nam Phuong Tien commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi.
Thereby, the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Coast Guard soldiers" in general, and Vietnamese Coast Guard women in particular, continues to shine in the love and trust of the people of the whole country.
Previously, on September 16, a working delegation led by Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Head of the Military Women's Committee, visited and sympathized with two families of members of the Coast Guard Command who suffered heavy losses caused by storm No. 3.
