According to statistics, from 2018 to present, in Thanh Hoa province, there have been over 2,000 cases of intentional injury and public disorder, killing over 100 people and injuring nearly 2,600 people.
Typically, on the evening of February 25, 2023, during a patrol, Team 282 of Sam Son City Police discovered a group of about 20 young people riding 8 motorbikes without license plates or covered, carrying pig-stabbing knives, beer bottles... going at high speed, weaving, swerving, showing signs of disturbing public order and safety. When discovering the police force, these subjects threw their weapons onto the road and accelerated to run away. The patrol team persistently followed and organized a siege. Arriving at Le Loi Street (Truong Son Ward), the patrol team controlled 2 subjects, including Pham Van Vinh and Vien Dinh Quang Tri, both born in 2008 in Quang Hai Commune (Quang Xuong); seized 1 motorbike with a covered license plate, no rearview mirror; 1 beer crate with 8 glass bottles. After making a record and handing it over to the Truong Son Ward Police, Patrol Team 282 continued to pursue the group of subjects to the gate of An Duong Vuong Temple in Quang Chau Ward (Sam Son City). When seeing Patrol Team 282, the subjects drove away on motorbikes, leaving behind a long homemade knife. Immediately afterwards, the Chief of Sam Son City Police mobilized 100% of the on-duty force, deployed synchronous professional measures, actively investigated, reviewed, verified and extracted images from the surveillance camera system to clarify the incident. By 10:00 a.m. on February 26, the Sam Son City Police Investigation Agency had summoned to clarify the personal background and behavior of 19 subjects involved in the incident; seized evidence including 4 homemade knives, 1 beer bottle case and 8 motorbikes.
The Investigation Police Agency of Thach Thanh District Police has just issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain 5 subjects for disturbing public order... Previously, the District Police received a report that a group of subjects were fighting in Ward 2, Kim Tan Town. Strengthened armed patrols, ensured security and order on key routes and areas to detect groups gathering with weapons and dangerous weapons, showing signs of committing crimes to proactively prevent and stop them. Regularly review and manage residences and business lines with conditions on security and order; actively inspect, collect, and mobilize people to hand over weapons, explosives, and supporting tools.
