On the afternoon of November 14, at the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work. Comrade Nguyen Duy Giang, member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy attended and chaired the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Comrade Tang Ngoc Tuan, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Supreme People's Procuracy, announced the decision of the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the transfer and appointment of Comrade Bui Viet Cuong, Senior Prosecutor, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Procuracy to hold the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy from November 16, 2024.
In his speech assigning tasks, Comrade Nguyen Duy Giang, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, congratulated Comrade Bui Viet Cuong on his appointment to the new position and hoped that in his new position, he would continue to train and further improve his professional expertise, uphold his role as a leader, and work with the unit to promote the tradition of solidarity, strive to successfully complete assigned tasks, and actively contribute to the overall achievements of the prosecution sector; grasp the local situation to effectively perform the functions and tasks of the sector, and at the same time perform well the advisory role for local Party committees and authorities in the field of prosecution.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Bui Viet Cuong, the new Chief Prosecutor of Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy, expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Executive Committee, the leadership of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for their attention and trust in the assignment and appointment of him to the position of Chief Prosecutor of Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy.
The new Chief Prosecutor of Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy expressed his honor at being appointed as Chief Prosecutor of Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy and determined the goal of continuing to strive, devote himself with the highest sense of responsibility to inherit the tradition and promote the achievements and results that the unit has achieved in the past time.
In his new position, he promised to quickly approach the task, together with the leadership of the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province, focus on leadership and direction to perform well the functions of the sector as well as the requirements of judicial reform in the new situation; continue to promote digital transformation, apply information technology in the sector and further improve the quality of practicing the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities.
