Preparing for the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on September 30, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, had a meeting with voters of Dam Ha and Ba Che districts.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, informed voters of Dam Ha and Ba Che districts about the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; introduced the laws that the National Assembly commented on and is expected to pass at the session; and the results of handling voters' petitions at the 7th Session. Accordingly, the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to open on October 21, 2024 and close on November 30, 2024. At the session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 16 laws and 2 resolutions; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and a number of other important issues...

Regarding the results of handling voters' petitions sent to the 7th Session, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation said that before and after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation organized two regular meetings with voters, summarizing a total of 37 petitions of voters under the jurisdiction of central ministries and branches. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation received documents from 12 ministries and branches in response to 26/37 petitions sent to the 7th Session. Before and after the 7th Session, there were 29 petitions of voters in the whole province sent to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation under the jurisdiction of the province. Up to now, 29/29 petitions of voters have been directed, resolved and responded to by the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, voters of Dam Ha and Ba Che districts expressed their joy at the active activities of the provincial National Assembly Delegation; at the same time, they made recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government, ministries and branches on the following issues: Perfecting the content of draft laws, closely following practical requirements; paying attention to strongly implementing solutions and policies to protect the environment, respond to natural disasters and climate change; implementing support mechanisms for people and businesses affected by storms and floods... At the meeting, leaders of localities and related departments and branches answered and clarified the recommendations of voters' concerns within their authority.

Clarifying the issues of concern to local voters, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, affirmed that the opinions and recommendations of voters in Dam Ha and Ba Che districts were truly heartfelt and practical, reflecting the issues that are being raised by the practical life at the grassroots level. Especially the recommendations related to mechanisms and policies in natural disaster prevention and environmental protection. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation will synthesize and honestly and fully reflect the opinions and recommendations of voters to the National Assembly, the Government, and relevant central and provincial agencies for consideration and resolution. In addition, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to closely monitor the handling and response to the opinions and recommendations of voters by central ministries, branches and relevant agencies; ensuring that the opinions are resolved promptly, meeting the expectations and desires of voters and the people.
