Today, November 26, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam received and worked with a high-level delegation of Carlsberg Vietnam Brewery Co., Ltd. led by General Director Andrew Khan, to evaluate the activities supported by Carlsberg Vietnam in social security, culture, sports and tourism (VH,TT&DL) in Quang Tri province in 2024, and propose a cooperation plan for 2025.

At the meeting, General Director of Carlsberg Vietnam Brewery Co., Ltd. Andrew Khan shared that Carlsberg Vietnam has invested and been deeply involved in the lives of the people of Central Vietnam in general and Quang Tri in particular over the past 30 years. In addition to production and business activities, Carlsberg Vietnam's social responsibility initiatives have always aimed at developing social security and the community.

From the program “Opening clean water for the beloved Central region” to the activity of giving Tet gifts to disadvantaged households, Carlsberg Vietnam has been actively contributing to solving urgent local issues, clearly demonstrating the company’s mission in creating sustainable social values. Carlsberg Vietnam also contributes to the sustainable development of the environment through efforts to protect the coast; cleaning up the Central region’s beaches, contributing to preserving the natural beauty, promoting awareness and responsibility for marine tourism.

Carlsberg Vietnam and its Huda beer brand also actively support many cultural, sports and tourism events in the Central region as well as Quang Tri. Mr. Andrew Khan affirmed that Carlsberg Vietnam's vision is not only to grow business, but also to promote sustainable development, create long-term partnerships and deepen connections with the community.

This working visit not only helps strengthen the cooperative relationship, but is also an opportunity for Carlsberg Vietnam to share its long-term commitment to the sustainable development of Quang Tri province. Carlsberg Vietnam wishes to continue its good relationship with the province in the coming time, and at the same time proposes a number of activities in 2025 in the area. These include continuing to support the program "Connecting Love" on Quang Tri Radio and Television; coordinating with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to give Tet gifts to the poor; coordinating with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize cultural and entertainment activities, traditional boat racing, provincial badminton tournament... to bring benefits to the people and the locality.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam congratulated Mr. Andrew Khan on his return to Vietnam and working with Quang Tri province in his new position as General Director of Carlsberg Vietnam Brewery Company Limited. He also acknowledged that the activities supported by Carlsberg Vietnam in terms of social security, culture, sports and tourism organized in the province have brought high efficiency. He hoped that in the coming time, Carlsberg Vietnam will continue to accompany and coordinate with Quang Tri province to well organize the activities that have been and are being implemented in the area.

Regarding the activities that Carlsberg Vietnam proposed to support in the province in 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam basically agreed and affirmed that the province is committed to supporting and creating the best conditions for the company to carry out activities to achieve the set goals and requirements. Providing more information about the Festival for Peace and the formation of important economic projects in the future of Quang Tri province, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the company should research and have a production and business strategy in the province to anticipate development in the following years.
