On January 25, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visited, encouraged and presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances in Tam Giang commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai was pleased to see the development of Nui Thanh and the improvement of people's lives. In recent times, the Party, State and National Assembly have paid attention to implementing policies for fishermen so that people can confidently go out to sea and protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai requested all levels, sectors, fisheries control forces, border guards, and coast guard to create favorable conditions for fishermen; coastal localities also need to find ways to develop aquaculture.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Nui Thanh district government closely coordinate with provincial departments and agencies to invest in infrastructure development, especially early completion of the Tam Giang bridge and approach road to facilitate people's travel and trade; pay attention to and support policy families.
On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly presented gifts to the People's Committee of Tam Giang commune, the Fisheries Unions in the province, the Fisheries Control Team No. 3, the Ky Ha Port Border Guard Station, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Quang Nam province.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai presented Tet gifts to 20 families with revolutionary contributions in Tam Giang commune, 100 poor households in communes in Nui Thanh area, and 200 gifts to fishermen and poor workers in Tam Giang, Tam Quang, Tam Hai, Tam Tien and Tam Hoa communes (Nui Thanh district).

Also on January 25, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai and leaders of Quang Nam province visited and presented gifts at Hoa Binh Village; presented Tet gifts to the Quang Nam Mental Health Nursing Center, the provincial Social Protection Center, the Vietnamese Sunflower Center and the Quang Nam Association of the Blind.

On the afternoon of January 25, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai also visited and offered incense at the Memorial House of the late Chairman of the State Council Vo Chi Cong (Tam Xuan 1 commune, Nui Thanh district).
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly presented gifts to the leaders of Tam Xuan 1 Commune People's Committee, Khuong My village authorities, the management unit of the memorial house of the late President of the State Council Vo Chi Cong and representatives of 21 families with revolutionary contributions in the locality.
