Due to the impact of storm No. 3, up to now, Quang Yen town continues to have moderate to heavy rain, strong winds, and rough seas. Trees have fallen on the roads in the town. Many houses have had their roofs blown off. Many areas of agencies, units, and businesses have been partially damaged. In particular, traffic in communes and wards has encountered many difficulties due to fallen trees, electric poles, and lamp posts.

Currently, the communication system in the town is temporarily interrupted. The power system is still completely out.

Due to intentionally returning to aquaculture rafts, the entire town has 10 people from Hiep Hoa commune trapped in the Hon Rau area. Currently, the town has contacted 4 people. The town is mobilizing forces to actively contact to bring them back to shore safely.

The town has directed communes, wards and related units to continue to propagate to people to absolutely not be subjective about the storm's circulation, work with telecommunications units to quickly overcome the situation of communication interruption, mobilize forces to clean up trees to ensure traffic. In particular, the town will continue to ban rivers and seas, not allowing people to go to ships, boats, and aquaculture areas.

After listening to the preliminary report of Quang Yen Town, Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, emphasized that storm No. 3 has complicated developments, is dangerous, and has the strongest impact ever. Therefore, Quang Yen Town absolutely must not be subjective or negligent; continue to improve response work, diversify forms of warning about risks of insecurity for people after storm No. 3.

He requested Quang Yen town to mobilize the entire political system to urgently overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3; soon restore communication and widespread power outages; contact households stranded in the Hon Rau area; and ensure smooth traffic for people as soon as possible.
