On the afternoon of July 23, Comrade Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial Party Committee's working delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to families of meritorious people in Lao Cai city on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).
The delegation included comrade Nguyen Van Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches and leaders of Lao Cai city.
On the afternoon of July 23, the Provincial Party Committee's working delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to: Ms. Ngo Thi Den, born in 1928, a heroic Vietnamese mother, residing in Cap Ke village, Thong Nhat commune, Lao Cai city; Ms. Tran Thi Doanh, born in 1930, a heroic Vietnamese mother, residing in Hong Giang village, Van Hoa commune, Lao Cai city; Ms. Ly Seo Say, born in 1948, a heroic Vietnamese mother, residing in group 7, ward, Bac Cuong; Mr. Tran Van Am, born in 1932, an 81% disabled veteran, residing in group 12, ward Bac Cuong.


At the families he visited, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee kindly asked about the heroic Vietnamese mothers and war invalids and expressed his joy at the positive changes in all aspects of life of the meritorious people.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that Lao Cai is still a province with many difficult factors and conditions, but the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee always give special priority by building policies and regimes to care for people with meritorious services and policy families in the locality, including Lao Cai city.



He requested that Party committees, authorities at all levels, relevant sectors, and Lao Cai city pay more attention to the lives of households and meritorious people in the area.
