On the evening of December 24, at Thanh Hoa Cathedral, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and provincial leaders came to celebrate and congratulate Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, Chairman of the Justice and Peace Committee of the Vietnam Bishops' Council, Bishop of Thanh Hoa Diocese; priests, dignitaries, officials and Catholics on the occasion of Christmas 2024 and welcoming the New Year 2025.

Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province recognized and highly appreciated the contributions of Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, priests and Catholics in the province in the cause of building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich and developed.

Proud of the strong development of Thanh Hoa province and the contributions of Catholics to the common achievements of the province, Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong affirmed that the Catholic Diocese of Thanh Hoa will continue to pay attention to guiding dignitaries, officials and Catholics to comply well with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; proactively and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched by all levels and sectors.
