Nam Em fined 10 million VND, considering blocking 2 social media accounts

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications has just had a second working session with Nam Em about providing information on social network accounts.

After the meeting, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City decided to impose a heavier administrative penalty on Nam Em. The fine is 10 million VND.

In addition, the Department will report and recommend the Ministry of Information and Communications to consider and block the Facebook account named "Nguyen Le Nam Em" and the Tiktok account "Nguyen Le Nam Em" according to the provisions of Article 5 of Circular 38/2016 of the Ministry of Information and Communications detailing the provision of public information across borders.

"In the previous violation, the Department also warned Nam Em that if he re-offended and continued to commit administrative violations... then aggravating circumstances would be considered according to regulations. At the same time, the Department will coordinate with relevant agencies to apply preventive measures according to legal regulations," said a Department representative.

Nam Em was administratively fined 10 million VND.

Previously, on March 1, Nam Em was administratively fined 37.5 million VND by the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City for providing information that caused confusion among the people and insulted famous people and national heroes.

The Department of Information and Communications made the recommendation as mentioned above. In addition, the Department of Information and Communications also requested Nam Em to comply with the provisions of Decision No. 874 of the Ministry of Information and Communications on promulgating the code of conduct on social networks and Decision No. 3196 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on promulgating the code of conduct for people working in the field of art.

Recently, Nam Em has been continuously livestreaming on social networks, attracting a large number of followers. She attracted attention when recalling her tumultuous love story in the past, not afraid to reveal the dark side of showbiz and "exposing" a few famous people.

After being administratively fined for the first time, Nam Em continued to conduct livestreams with uncontrolled behavior and inappropriate statements.
