Accordingly, on the morning of November 1, Lang Ho Border Post, Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard, coordinated with the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Lam Thuy Commune, the Commune Police and the villages to inspect the situation after the flood.

Through inspection, a crack was discovered on the hill behind Tan Ly village, about 5 - 20cm wide, in some places nearly 1m, about 40 - 55m long, about 15m from the nearest house.
Faced with that situation, authorities urgently evacuated 13 households with 61 people at risk of landslides to safety.
